Live Wedding Painting

Live wedding painting is a new and unique form of art where an artist sets up their easel at your wedding and paints a scene from your special day as it happens. It's a conversation starter, a focal point, and a cherished heirloom that will be treasured for generations to come.

Your wedding day is one of the most important moments of your life. That's why I am committed to providing you with a seamless and personalized experience, from the initial consultation to the delivery of your custom painting.

 

The Process:

1. Check availability: Check your date availability by leaving an enquiry.

2. Deposit: A 25% deposit is required to secure your date with a signed contract. This is not refundable.

3. Consultation: We begin with a consultation to discuss your vision, preferences, and any specific details you'd like to incorporate into the portrait.

4. Final Payment: The final payment is required in full at least 30 days before the event.

5. The Painting: I will set up my station roughly two hours before the ceremony, and begin sketching and painting the background as guests arrive. I will then add you in, upon your arrival based on  reference photos or start beforehand if you opt for a pre wedding shoot.

6. After the event: Your painting will be done up to 80% on site but will look mostly complete towards the end of the night. The painting will be taken back to my studio for final details and any corrections ensuring a finish you can be pleased with. This process can take around 4 - 8 weeks depending on your chosen size.

7. Feedback and Revisions: Your feedback is valued throughout the process, allowing for up to 2 revisions if you are unsatisfied. Any further revisions will be charged an additional 20% of the agreed upon fee, per revision.

8. Delivery: Upon completion, your painting will be packaged, and couriered to your new home. Alternatively, local collection or personal delivery by the artist can be arranged for clients in KZN.
