About The Artist

Thavanashen Mudaly (b. 1987) is a professional artist who specializes in the art of portraiture in the mediums of oil paints, Graphite pencils and charcoal. His passion for art began at a young age, and he has been honing his skills ever since. With a keen eye for detail and a love for capturing emotions on canvas, Thavanashen Mudaly creates stunning works of art that can be cherished by clients for years to come.

After graduating with a Diploma in design and multimedia in 2008, he began working in the animation industry until the effects of the global recession began to impact production in 2010 and effect studio cutbacks and shutdowns.
He went on to work in the design and print industry until 2019 and has since gone on to refine his skills in the world of Fine arts. He strives to capture the form and essence of his subjects through realistic oil paintings techniques, and continues to experiment with a variety of subject matters and techniques.
